I hadn't thought about that...I just paint til I like the way it looks. I wouldn't obliterate the suggestion of an object but, I don't have any in mind.
Stick around...we have non-contributing philosopher, and a contributing philosopher that doesn't...we need the brain power.
I like this one, don't care for the color pallet chosen. Don't feel the primal thing. More of a busy angry city. A little linear in a crude way. That is the best stuck up art critic review I have, take care.
I like the balance of the tone, and the pattern, not bad at all. But, I'm with Mazes, I hate the colours, that yellow and awful orange red, yack. I turned it B+W in photoshop, much nicer.
I should probably point out here...and periodically from here on out...that visitors should feel free to comment without fear of being berated like the two jokers above, or the sister....I only talk like that to my friends.
Of course, should you hang around long enough...you run the risk of becoming a "friend" too.
Yeah, you said above its deliberate, so my advice, if we are indulging aesthetics here, is don't obsess; I don't think its helping. That yellow... man.
i know you are limited by the beginner set you bought at Walmart. The five little tubes of color, but you can blend. I'm with Allan turned to b&w, much nicer.
Very primal!
ReplyDeleteOk I'll bite. Why two ls?
ReplyDeleteHey Snarky...good to see you over here big man.

Primal...I like that.
The sister says...It sucks.
ReplyDeleteThe sister's internet skills are what sucks.

ReplyDeleteHa
ReplyDeleteThe color choice is the one thing I'm meticulous about...deal with it art-snob.

ReplyDeleteDo you do a lot of hard drugs and wear women's hosiery like Mazes too?
ReplyDeleteOn second thought..don't answer that.
The colors really are the only thing I obsess about...and they are deliberately chosen.

ReplyDeleteI got the balance baby...I'll take that.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are mine...unless of course we're talkin' pounds. In which case I'll be happy to paint one to match your love seat.

ReplyDeleteYou're color blind...you don't even know who you're agreeing with.
ReplyDeleteHow could you get Adam and Allan confused...they're not even spelled the same?
I got it at Family Dollar anyway.
