The Dreary North

I don't know if it's actually raining...it's more like a thick mist that gathers into drops and falls sporadically. It's real wet whatever it is. And man is it dreary. The skys a dirty colorless gray...all the asphalt's balck and covered with a thin sheen of water...a mirror to the grime above. Solid objects like buildings, brown grassy medians, the Dollar Inn and Bob Evan's signs all look like they're floating in murk...like ships in a heavy fog.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody.

  2. Thankfully it never snowed. It just got colder than a welldigger's the next day and stayed that way til we got to Memphis...wonderful, glorious, Memphis.

Oh Memphis...I bet Columbus's crew wasn't happier to foilage in the floatsam than I was to see Memphis yesterday.
