If This Doesn't Work...

I'm gonna be so mad I could eat a cupcake!

My reader still hasn't updated. Delta Mobile is still up as my latest post.

If this one doesn't pop up...well...nothing. I guess I'll just stop worrying about it. I'm sure as hell not monkeying with anything else.

  1. Yup Delta Mobile still shows on my blog as your latest post, just as well I am still traumatized by those Pork Rind skins :)

    1. Drat.

There's been one big post since then. All the others have been attempts to find the reader.

      Pointless.

  2. Same as Sharron as I'm not getting your updates either :-( (same as Sharron re. the pork skins too. Perhaps Google was also traumatised by them?)

I have no technological know-how whatsoever so cannot offer any suggestions at all, but I shall keep popping by to see what you're up to, I promise!
    Fingers crossed...

    1. It all started with that dadgum ap. I should never mess with a gadget.

Too bad to because delta immobile was a lot better than mobile.

  3. Same here, e.f. - Delta mobile is the still the latest post in my reader and on my blog home page.

In case you feel singled out for technical problems, I have a "latest comments" widget on my blog which has taken to featuring spam comments which don't even appear on the comments list in Blogger dashboard or under the posts they're aimed at, so I can't even delete the pesky little buggers.

Good luck with getting the updating going again - had a quick look online but couldn't see anything useful. Sorry.

No idea what - if anything - you do about backing up your blog, but, because Flimsy Cups getting wiped would represent a disaster for humanity - ever thought up setting up a free Wordpress.com blog, hidden from public gaze, and occasionally transferring all your stuff over there, so nothing can ever be lost? You may already do this, of course, but I'm becoming a pernickety old belt-and-braces worrywart. (Hello - I'm from the government and I'm here to help.)

    1. Thanks. I just assume my blog post were already being cataloged in the Blogspot hall of fame.

Can you imagine me trying to transfer something from one blog to another...you might as well ask me to do multiplication.

  4. It still seems to be broke man, not all you got is a random grainy photo of a homeless man smoking a cigarette... damn.

Its possibly related to Google closing down reader, either way, the RSS feeds from blogger, which is what Google Reader and numerous other feedreaders (I use pulse) draw from, are basically always borked. Pulse still has you down as last posting about the Delta too. Commenting from tablets is bloody awfull on blogger posts too, depending on the comment profile you choose.

Migrate to Wordpress dude, and I'll have some humble pie and cream ready for you when you get there.

    1. Tell a lie, Pulse has your last post down as 'Road Trip - North Mississippi' as did another free reader I checked.

    2. That might explain why that one's gotten more than the usual hits today.

It still doesn't explain why you didn't concede today that my Shrimp and Grits ruined your appetite with jealousy.

    3. Nothing for that homeless man smoking a cigarette comment? damn, that shit was A grade doood.

I can't be jealous of grits man, I never had em, no frame of reference, thus no effect. Anyways, after a Grand Prix weekend like that, and a day so full of cake as monday, you still got nothin'.

    4. Man disappears on us for a month and comes back (with a French name...I guess he was gone on his honeymoon) demanding attention.

Like I said you were saved by a dead phone battery...you didn't have to face it.

    5. Yeah, your good at excuses, and the preceeding losses.I'm loking that you think its french... ha, its just blogger has decided to accept my wordpress profile properly... speaking of which; It's your damn software, I've been nowhere, the silent screaming against the wall of dysfunctional technology know as blogger has been me, it hates mobile technology, commentings like trying to dress a 2 year old in under a minuite; impossible, and thus pointless to try. You're in luck now though, work has quietened down (3 books out in a month) so I got time to look at work on a PC.

  5. With regard to the RSS feeds, have you been into your blogger Settings/Other tab, and then made sure that the Blog Post Feed box says either Short or Full?

Yer app may have disabled it or something?
